It was a cold winter night in February 2023, Sam was just minding his business having a late dinner and beer at Taylor's Pub on the northside of Indianapolis not knowing everything was about to change. In walks Elizabeth - she sat right next to him even though there were other open barstools. Twenty minutes passed before either of them spoke to each other. It all started because the bartender was talking to Liz about another patrons depends that needed to be changed. Sam couldn't help himself from butting into the conversation. Next thing you know, they are talking about Legos and stealing a yacht to head for the Bahamas. After the conversation goes on and a few other bar dwellers join in, Sam and Liz are asked how long they have been dating. At that moment Sam introduced himself and asked her name.

It may have been a cold winter night of the month of February, that is true. What is not true is that there were multiple available bar stools, there was one and one only. So when I walked in to this very busy bar, I chose the only seat available to sit, eat my dinner and read my book. What is true is the bartender engaged a conversation with us & the patrons also engaging conversation with us. Some may have assumed that we had been a couple for years.... well we can say that now . But then, all I knew is a man next to me eating his nachos. Not his name , not where he is from, nothing. He may tell you I had noticed him weeks prior and thought he was cute, but I wont admit that to him fully:) (its true). As the night went on, we get to know each other a little more, he even paid for my dinner and asked for my number. Then 2 weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend, and here we are 3 years later to be Husband & Wife. Tho, we have yet to steal a yacht and sail to the Bahamas , we have set sail to our forever adventure of a lifetime.
